E Ka Lani ē
E ka lani ē, e ho‘olono mai ‘oe
Chief, hear me deeply
E ka lani ē, e alaka‘i mai ‘oe
Chief, guide me always
E ka lani ē, e ho‘ōla mai ‘oe

Chief, heal me from within
E ka lani ē, e hui kala mai ‘oe
Chief, forgive me truthfully

  2. Keala, what a beautiful poem! I also loved the idea of seeing the world through a child's eyes, it is one of gifts we give ourselves by becoming Early Childhood professionals! I am very excited to be working with you-Carolyn
